ZeroCortisol Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ZeroCortisol.com and the ZeroCortisol assessment, CortiScore, 7-Day Reset, check-ins, follow-up assessments, account features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

The Services are provided by Tribute LLC (“ZeroCortisol,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the ZeroCortisol assessment or purchase the 7-Day Reset.

By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

2. What ZeroCortisol Provides

ZeroCortisol is a consumer wellness product designed to help users understand lifestyle and behavioral factors associated with sleep, perceived stress, load and recovery balance, movement, nutrition, and lifestyle or substance-use patterns.

The Services may include:

• a wellness questionnaire;
• a CortiScore from 0–100;
• category and factor scores;
• personalized wellness insights;
• a paid 7-Day Reset containing selected lifestyle actions;
• daily check-ins;
• repeat assessments;
• comparisons between assessments;
• AI-assisted explanations of selected actions.

CortiScore is a proprietary wellness-product methodology.

3. ZeroCortisol Does Not Measure Cortisol

Despite the ZeroCortisol brand name, the Services do not measure, test, calculate, or estimate your blood, saliva, urine, or other physiological cortisol levels.

A higher or lower CortiScore should not be interpreted as indicating a higher or lower biological cortisol level.

“ZeroCortisol” is a brand name and does not represent a recommendation or goal of eliminating cortisol. Cortisol is a normal physiological hormone.

4. Not Medical Advice or Diagnosis

ZeroCortisol is not a medical provider, medical device, diagnostic service, laboratory test, or substitute for professional healthcare.

The Services do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

CortiScore, category scores, recommendations, Reset actions, AI-generated explanations, check-ins, and other information provided through the Services are intended for general wellness and informational purposes only.

Do not use ZeroCortisol to:

• diagnose a medical condition;
• determine whether your cortisol level is high or low;
• replace advice from a physician or other qualified healthcare professional;
• start, stop, or change prescription medication;
• interpret laboratory results;
• delay seeking medical care.

Always seek appropriate professional medical advice regarding symptoms, diagnoses, medications, pregnancy, medical conditions, or other individual health concerns.

5. Certain Health Profiles

Some assessment responses may indicate circumstances in which ZeroCortisol limits, modifies, or withholds particular recommendations.

These may include pregnancy or breastfeeding, certain diagnosed endocrine or sleep conditions, certain medications, significant daytime sleepiness, or other circumstances identified by the assessment.

A limitation or referral message does not constitute a diagnosis or determination that you have a medical condition.

ZeroCortisol may decline to provide certain recommendations where we believe the available information is insufficient for a general wellness recommendation.

6. CortiScore and Methodology

CortiScore evaluates selected lifestyle and behavioral factors using a proprietary scoring methodology.

The methodology may consider areas including:

• Sleep & Circadian;
• Perceived Stress;
• Load & Recovery Balance;
• Movement;
• Nutrition;
• Lifestyle/Substances.

CortiScore is an informational wellness score, not a clinically validated diagnostic score unless we expressly state otherwise in the future.

Scores and recommendations depend on the information you provide. Inaccurate, incomplete, or changing information may affect your results.

We may update the methodology over time as the product develops. Assessments may be associated with a specific methodology version so that historical results can be interpreted in context.

7. Personalized Recommendations and Artificial Intelligence

ZeroCortisol uses rules-based logic to calculate scores and select eligible lifestyle actions.

We may use artificial intelligence to help personalize the wording, explanation, or scheduling of those selected actions.

Artificial intelligence is not intended to independently diagnose you, determine your CortiScore, override safety or exclusion rules, prescribe medication, interpret laboratory results, or create medical treatment.

AI-generated language can contain errors. You should use reasonable judgment and seek professional advice when appropriate.

8. The 7-Day Reset

The paid 7-Day Reset is a short-term wellness program based on information you provide through the assessment.

The current Reset generally includes:

• three selected lifestyle actions;
• explanations of why those actions were selected;
• suggested implementation guidance;
• daily check-ins;
• a progress review;
• an opportunity to repeat relevant assessment measures.

The Reset is designed as a personal wellness experiment. Results vary between individuals.

We do not guarantee that completing a Reset will improve your CortiScore, sleep, stress, energy, health, wellbeing, cortisol level, or any medical condition.

9. Purchases

The current 7-Day Reset is offered as a one-time purchase of USD $19, unless a different price is clearly displayed before purchase.

The purchase is not a subscription unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.

Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor.

You authorize the payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown at checkout.

Refunds

If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing a purchased Reset, contact support@zerocortisol.com. Refund requests will be handled in accordance with our posted refund policy and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. Accounts

You may need an account to access certain Services.

You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and for activity occurring through it.

You agree to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

11. Acceptable Use

You may use the Services only for lawful personal purposes.

You may not:

• attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account;
• interfere with or disrupt the Services;
• bypass payment or access controls;
• scrape or systematically extract content or data without authorization;
• reverse engineer or attempt to reproduce our proprietary scoring or recommendation systems except where applicable law expressly permits;
• use automated systems to abuse the assessment or Services;
• upload malicious code;
• impersonate another person;
• use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

The Services, including ZeroCortisol branding, CortiScore methodology, assessment structure, software, design, text, graphics, scoring systems, recommendation logic, and other content, are owned by or licensed to ZeroCortisol and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for your own personal wellness purposes.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

13. User Content and Feedback

You retain rights in information and content you submit to ZeroCortisol.

You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to process that information for the purpose of operating and providing the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, or product feedback, we may use that feedback to improve ZeroCortisol without obligation to compensate you, provided that doing so does not override rights you have under applicable privacy law.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, additional consumer health data disclosures.

Please review those policies before using the Services.

15. Third-Party Services

ZeroCortisol relies on third-party services for functions such as hosting, authentication, databases, payment processing, artificial intelligence, communications, and analytics.

Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for third-party services that you independently access outside ZeroCortisol.

16. Service Availability and Changes

ZeroCortisol is an evolving product.

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, scoring methodologies, recommendations, pricing, or other aspects of the Services.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Where reasonably appropriate, we will preserve the methodology version associated with historical assessments.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

ZEROCORTISOL DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND RESULTS TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH, WELLNESS, SLEEP, STRESS, PERFORMANCE, OR OTHER OUTCOME.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEROCORTISOL AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

(A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ZEROCORTISOL DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
(B) USD $100.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZeroCortisol from claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services or material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer laws in your jurisdiction apply.

21. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Services, create security risks, or where required by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as ZeroCortisol develops.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.

Your continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
