ZeroCortisol Privacy Policy

ZeroCortisol (“ZeroCortisol,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a consumer wellness assessment and personalized lifestyle program designed to help adults better understand lifestyle, stress, sleep, load and recovery, movement, nutrition, and related behavioral factors.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use ZeroCortisol.com, the ZeroCortisol assessment, CortiScore, the 7-Day Reset, account features, check-ins, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

ZeroCortisol is operated by Tribute LLC, located at 3445 Stratford Rd NE #3401, Atlanta, GA 30326.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• your email address and account information;
• responses to the ZeroCortisol assessment;
• information about sleep, stress, energy, recovery, movement, nutrition, caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, lifestyle habits, and related wellness factors;
• information you provide regarding certain health conditions, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, sleep disorders, or other factors used to determine whether particular recommendations should be limited or excluded;
• daily check-in responses;
• follow-up or repeat assessment responses;
• information you voluntarily provide in notes, feedback, support requests, or communications with us.

Some of this information may be considered health-related, sensitive, or consumer health data under applicable privacy laws.

Please do not provide information that is not requested or necessary to use the Services.

Information generated by the Services

We generate information based on your assessment responses, including:

• your CortiScore;
• category and factor scores;
• derived variables used by the scoring system;
• eligibility or exclusion flags;
• recommendation candidates;
• selected Reset actions;
• progress and comparison information between assessments.

These outputs are wellness-product outputs and are not medical diagnoses or measurements of cortisol levels.

Payment information

If you purchase a paid ZeroCortisol product, payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor, currently Stripe.

We do not intend to store your full payment-card number or security code on ZeroCortisol systems. Stripe processes payment information according to its own privacy and security practices.

We may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount paid, date, transaction identifier, and the product purchased.

Technical and usage information

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically receive certain technical information, such as:

• IP address;
• browser and device type;
• operating system;
• pages or screens viewed;
• timestamps;
• referral or campaign information;
• error and diagnostic information;
• interactions with the Services.

We may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, functionality, analytics, and measuring the effectiveness of our marketing, subject to applicable law and any consent choices presented to you.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and operate the Services;
• create and display your CortiScore and category scores;
• determine which Reset actions are eligible and relevant to you;
• generate and explain your personalized 7-Day Reset;
• operate daily check-ins and follow-up assessments;
• show changes in your scores over time;
• create and maintain your account;
• process purchases and determine access to paid features;
• communicate with you about your account, Reset, check-ins, retests, purchases, and support requests;
• maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Services;
• understand how users interact with the Services and where users leave or complete the experience;
• evaluate the effectiveness of different product and marketing experiences;
• prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use CortiScore to diagnose a medical condition or measure or estimate your cortisol level.

3. Artificial Intelligence

ZeroCortisol may use artificial intelligence services to help explain and present recommendations selected by our rules-based system.

Our scoring and recommendation logic is designed to operate separately from the AI language layer. AI does not determine your CortiScore and is not intended to diagnose medical conditions, interpret laboratory results, change medications, override exclusion criteria, or independently create medical treatments.

For the current ZeroCortisol experience, relevant context from your responses may be provided to our AI service provider where necessary to personalize the explanation of actions selected for your Reset.

We design the integration so that your email address and personal notes are not included in the information sent to the AI service for this purpose.

We use OpenAI as an AI technology provider. Information processed by a service provider is also subject to the contractual and technical arrangements applicable to our use of that provider.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate ZeroCortisol, including providers of:

• website and application hosting;
• databases and authentication;
• payment processing;
• artificial intelligence services;
• transactional email and communications;
• analytics and performance measurement;
• error monitoring, security, and technical infrastructure;
• professional services such as legal, accounting, or security support.

Our current or anticipated infrastructure includes services provided by Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, and email or analytics providers configured for the Services.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

We may also disclose information:

• if required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request;
• to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of ZeroCortisol, our users, or others;
• to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
• in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Sale of Health Data

ZeroCortisol does not sell your assessment responses, CortiScore, health-related information, or personalized Reset information to data brokers.

We do not sell consumer health data in exchange for monetary consideration.

If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and obtain consent where required by applicable law.

6. Advertising and Analytics

We may measure how users discover and interact with ZeroCortisol, including through campaign identifiers, referral information, and analytics tools.

We do not intend to provide your identifiable assessment answers, CortiScore, Reset recommendations, or health-related information to advertising platforms for targeted advertising.

Because health-related data can receive heightened legal protection, we seek to separate identifiable assessment data from advertising and acquisition measurement wherever reasonably practicable.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• provide your account and purchased Services;
• maintain your assessment and progress history;
• comply with legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations;
• resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

We will establish and periodically review retention periods appropriate to the type and sensitivity of information involved.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident involving your information, we will take appropriate steps and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

• request access to information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of certain information;

10. Consumer Health Data

Information you provide through ZeroCortisol may qualify as “consumer health data” or similar sensitive information under laws in certain U.S. states.

Where such laws apply, we will provide additional disclosures, obtain consent where required, limit access to such information, and provide applicable access, deletion, withdrawal, and other rights.

Where required, ZeroCortisol may publish a separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describing these practices in greater detail.

11. Children

ZeroCortisol is intended for adults aged 18 and older.

We do not knowingly offer the assessment or paid Reset to children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18 in connection with these Services contrary to our eligibility requirements, we may delete or restrict that information.

12. International Users

ZeroCortisol is operated from the US State of Georgia, and may use service providers located in other countries, including the United States.

If you access ZeroCortisol from outside the country in which our systems or providers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions.

Additional rights or requirements may apply depending on where you live.

13. Medical Information and Emergencies

ZeroCortisol is a wellness product and is not a medical service.

Information submitted to ZeroCortisol is not monitored by a physician or emergency service.

Do not use ZeroCortisol to communicate a medical emergency or seek urgent medical assistance. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ZeroCortisol develops or as legal requirements change.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice or request consent where required by law.
